Guest speaker Tom Calma, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Justice Commissioner and acting Race Discrimination Commissioner, will deliver the oration, Does a human rights approach have anything to offer the health of Indigenous Australians?
Following Mr Calma’s oration, Dean Rioli, Chair of The Rioli Fund for Aboriginal Health will take the floor for an overview of the newly created fund and its priorities for the next two years.
The 2007 Menzies Oration will take place at the Darwin Entertainment Centre, Mitchell St, Darwin from 5.30pm to 7.30pm (light refreshments served at 5.30pm).
