Annual international student lunch

Students enjoyed 2005 international student lunch

Charles Darwin University’s International office, in conjunction with North Flinders International House, ACL English Centre and Support and Equity Services, will host the annual international student lunch on Tuesday 5 September from 12.30pm to 2.30pm in the breezeway (near the library) at the Casuarina Campus.

The lunch is one of many activities run throughout the year to ensure that international students feel welcomed at CDU. With almost 300 international students from over 50 countries, CDU is a rich multicultural institution.

To cater for such a range of nationalities, a variety of ‘international’ food will be available, including halal, gluten free and vegetarian dishes. Drinks will also be provided, and there will be a chance to win great prizes.

Staff from the International office and faculty members including course coordinators and lecturers will be on hand, providing a great opportunity to get to know other students and university staff.

All international students are welcome and should contact the international office for more information and to RSVP – carina.dempster@cdu.edu.au.
