2011 marks the 100 year anniversary since the Territory was ceded to the Commonwealth Government from South Australia and our capital city was officially named Darwin.
To commemorate this historical event the Northern Territory Government is hosting a full day event at the NT Library with prominent local and interstate historians including Dr Mickey Dewar, Professor Bob Reece, Dr Sue Stanton and many others.
The seminar will be held on Saturday, 5 March from 9am-5pm at the NT Library, Parliament House, Darwin.
