Two Charles Darwin University staff members have been recognised for their outstanding dedication and energy in their work at a recent awards ceremony.

Manager of the Callista Team in Student Services Dennis Tsang and Administration Officer with the Centre for Youth and Community Music Jennifer Rivett were presented with the Ryan Family Award for their exceptional performances and contributions to the university.

Made possible by the generosity of the Deputy Chancellor, Richard Ryan AO and family, the Ryan Family Award provides an opportunity to highlight achievements and contributions of people from all levels and areas of the university, which may otherwise go unsung.

Mr Tsang was recognised for his contribution to streamlining Student Services functions including admissions, enrolments, fees, timetabling, Commonwealth scholarships, implementation of Area 52 and the development, design and implementation of three major applications for Student Services.

Mrs Rivett was recognised for her outstanding leadership in the transition of the Centre for Youth Music to its new business model, which is now flourishing.

Mr Tsang and Mrs Rivett both received $1500 and a framed citation, while lecturer in electro technology Steven Gray and Research Fellow, The Northern Institute, Dr Aggie Wegner also received $1000 and a framed citation for their special commendations.
