Vortex set to mesmerise

A unique family event merging circus, music and technology is set to wow audiences at an upcoming performance in Darwin.

Presented by Corrugated Iron and Charles Darwin University’s MERGE Project, Vortex is a free family friendly theatrical concert combining live music, circus, theatre, and technology by MERGE and Corrugated Iron’s amazing performers.

Vortex is part of MERGE, a community-based festival that connects creative arts practice with creative industry research.

A multi-discipline initiative designed to cultivate art and performance within the community, MERGE endeavours to link multiple creative arts genres, multiple locations, multiple nationalities/ages, and community engagement (both urban and remote) to serve as a podium to celebrate the unification of new media, visual arts, dance, and music performance.

Vortex will open on Friday, 3 September at 6pm and 8pm, and will be performed on Saturday 4 September again at 6 and 8pm at The Amphitheatre, Charles Darwin University.
