Timeless Christmas production on show in Darwin

Charles’ Dickens classic feel-good story of Ebenezer Scrooge, the nastiest and most pitiful man in London who becomes a model of kindness, will be presented by the Centre of Youth Music (CYM) in Darwin.

A talented cast of local performers will present Scrooge: The Stingiest Man In Town at the Charles Darwin University’s Theatre Friday and Saturday December 4 and 5 .

The production is a musical play based on Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”, performed by a talented young cast of local performers and is directed by Paolo Fabris, an accomplished Italian actor, singer and music tutor at the CYM.

Mr Fabris, who has worked with theatre companies in Italy, said he looked forward to presenting the timeless story.

“This is a lavish and enchanting musical which warms the heart of audiences young and old,” he said.

The production starts at 7.30pm sharp and tickets can be purchased at the door.
