Creative Arts and Humanities artists' forum

Bill Wade will talk about his journey as a new media artist on Tuesday 23 September from 12pm to 1pm.

New media as an emerging art form finds its roots in the collaborative processes and coming together of multimedia artists, where talented practitioners from a variety of genres merge their efforts to create applied products, standalone artworks or uniquely engaging installations.

Bill's journey as a new media artist has been a traversing road that has explored photography, digital imaging and design, and a huge tangential movement towards the time-based mediums of sound, music and digital video.

Bill will present reflections upon this journey, a wonderful sound and sight show representing Canada's "Forgotten North", and a sneak peak at a collaborative time-lapsed project focussing on the sights and sounds of the Aurora Borealis.

Join Bill for a uniquely Canadian flavour to one of this year's artists’ forums.

This forum takes place in the lecture theatre, Blue 1.1.01, Casuarina campus.
