Salary negotiable, three year contract

Menzies is a leader in Indigenous health research in Australia. Our vibrant, innovative and rapidly growing organisation based at the Royal Darwin Hospital Campus is seeking a Deputy Director. The Deputy Director will provide overall leadership of corporate and research support, as well as contributing to strategic planning and development as a member of the executive team.

The Deputy Director will enjoy the responsibility of driving growth through a strategic business focus and ensuring the efficient and effective support for the research and teaching functions of the School. The Deputy Director will also play a key role in coordinating business development activities and contributing to research and teaching in a relevant academic area.

The successful candidate will have a background in health research and/or teaching as well as exceptional management skills and experience, including knowledge of HR practices, financial management and budget requirements, preferably within a health research, health services or health policy context.
