Alice Springs Charles Darwin University staff and students can now withdraw funds at a new ATM installed by the Territory Insurance Office (TIO).

Located at the school cafeteria, the facility was provided to the campus as part of TIO’s community charter which extends to contributing towards CDU projects and scholarships.

More than 1000 students and staff of CDU and the nearby Centralian Senior Secondary College can access funds without leaving the campus.

TIO’s Alice Springs manager, Keith Day said he was pleased to contribute to the ongoing development of the Alice Springs campus.

Campus administrator, Dianne Underwood said the ATM was already being used regularly by students and staff of CDU.

‘As gold members of the Charles Darwin University Foundation, TIO are strong supporters of the university and we thank them for assisting us with this initiative,’ she said.
