No frills for sixteenth VET research conference

Charles Darwin University’s (CDU) Alice Springs Campus is set to host the 16th National Vocational Education and Training Research Conference from 11-13 July 2007.

Sponsored jointly by the National Centre for Vocational Education Research and CDU’s Alice Springs Campus, the conference aims to bring together staff involved or interested in vocational education and training (VET) research from TAFE institutes, universities and private organisations.

The annual National Vocational Education and Training Research conference, 'No Frills', is considered one of the best value events on the VET research calendar.

In keeping with the ‘no frills’ approach, the conference offers an ideal opportunity for participants to network and share, discuss and present, current and recently completed work in a relaxed and informal environment.

Program highlights include two special forum presentations, Building capability of VET providers: Research forum preview, and Developing VET researchers for the future.
