The Darwin Symphony Orchestra performs Wind and water at the Darwin Entertainment Centre on Saturday 21 April.

The concert will feature Fingal's Cave by Mendelssohn and the Moldau by Smetena, with soloist David Thomas providing a representation of ‘wind’ with Mozart’s clarinet concerto, voted recently as the most popular piece of Mozart's music. Principal clarinet with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, this will be David’s first visit to Darwin.

Guest conductor Simone De Haan has played with and conducted the DSO on a number of occasions over the past 10 years.
