In 2006 the Northern University Games will be held on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast from 2 to 6 July.
This is a great opportunity to show off your sporting ability and compete against university students from 14 member universities including Central Queensland University, James Cook University and University of the Sunshine Coast.
The games, held over five days and featuring 17 sports, includes an action-packed social program, complimenting the games sporting program and enhancing the event experience for participants.
Attracting close to 2,500 student competitors from the 14 Australian University Sport (AUS) north region member universities, which covers northern New South Wales, Queensland and the Northern Territory, the Northern University Games holds the distinction of being AUS’s longest running multi-sport event.
Winning teams are eligible to attend the Australian University Games later on in the year.
