David Tollner, Member for Solomon will come up against the ABC’s sporting guru Charlie King at a Charles Darwin University O Week Basketball match.
CDU is hosting a Staff v Students promotional mixed basketball match on Tuesday 21 February 2006 at 1pm.
The game is designed to promote University sport for both new, current and international students and staff.
Charles Darwin University has asked David Tollner to coach the student’s side, while the staff will be coached by Charlie King.
David Tollner is no stranger to basketball. Tollner, a former basketball player played 315 games with the Darwin Basketball Association and scored 3487 points.
When asked to take part in the promotional event, David Tollner said “When’s training?”
