The welcoming signs are going up, info bags are being packed and Student Services staff have been briefed in preparation for what is shaping up as one of the most exciting and action packed Student Orientation Weeks (O-Week) in recent years.
Senior Facilities Officer Shaun Blewitt and assistant Andrew Watters were spotted hoisting one of the new attractive banners up over the Uni Info Shop under the watchful eye of CDU Events Manager Sharon Watson in preparation for O-Week which gets underway next week.
“A lot of CDU staff have put an enormous amount of effort into preparing for O-Week and we felt by placing the large O-Week banner across the top of the Uni Info Shop, it would really help new students focus on their main point of contact,” said Ms Watson.
“And that’s what O-Week is all about, helping the students.”
