Garden music

The School of Creative Arts and Humanities presents ‘Music for an Indonesian Garden’, on Saturday 28 October – a special fundraising concert to assist with the building of an Indonesia Garden at Charles Darwin University.

This concert will feature music for guitar, voice and flute, and chamber music with music staff Adrian Walter, Chen Hui, Janusz Kwasny, Kathy Banks, Rebecca Harris and Stephan Bulmer, as well as premier ensembles from the School of Creative Arts and Humanities and a special guest appearance by worldfly.

Pre-concert entertainment starting at 7.30pm will be provided in the form of Indonesian dancing, music and food.

The concert commences at 8.00pm in the CDU Theatre, Casuarina Campus.

Tickets are available at the door and prior to the concert from Building 16 administration area: Adults - $15, Concession - $10, Children/U3A - $7.

The Indonesia Garden will be built at the rear of building 16, and aims to be a creative space for educational, cultural and recreational activities for both the University and the wider Darwin community, whilst being an ideal alternative performance area, especially for concerts using the University’s Gamelan Orchestra.

Come and support this worthy cause and enjoy some spectacular music making, with a great international feel.
