There was no such thing as a bad hair day at Charles Darwin University’s (CDU) Imagination Unlimited hair and beauty showcase on June 19.
Hairdressing and beauty therapy students showed off their skills at the showcase, held at CDU’s Palmerston Campus.
Those present had the opportunity to have their hair cut, coloured and styled and their faces made up.
Special guests from the NT hair and beauty industry were treated to a range of innovative and stylish creations from some of the Territory’s best young talent.
CDU hair and beauty student, Kristen Jackson, believes that the event was a great opportunity for younger students to learn.
“It’s a chance to show everyone our hard work and training,” Kristen said.
“VET students who want to be hairdressers got to see what hair and beauty is like and what exactly is involved.”
CDU hospitality students also prepared a variety of foods for the event.
