BiZnorth supporting CDU scholarships

Established in 2001 to provide services to training organisations that require project assistance, training, assessment and business diagnostics, BiZnorth Pty Ltd also provides support to Charles Darwin University (CDU) students through the BiZnorth Location Scholarship.

The scholarship provides assistance to the value of $1000 for one year for a full-time regional student.

Annette Gillanders, Director of BiZnorth Pty Ltd, has previously lectured and studied at CDU and believes that the University is essential to the Northern Territory.

“It plays a very large role in the community both in education and employment,” said Annette.

To study and work at a university that is geographically and demographically unique has been essential in the wide range of skills and diversity that Annette has gained.

She currently delivers training for CDU in both the AIM Short Course Program and has been lecturing for the past two years within the Defence Junior Management Program conducted at CDU.

BiZnorth believes that contributing to the community and in particular education for the development of Territorian’s is essential; and while there are many sponsorship and marketing opportunities it is important to give back to the community.

As well as CDU, BiZnorth provides services to Power Water Corporation, Palmerston City Council, Australian Department of Defence, Group Training Northern Territory, Jalyn Ford, Darwin Entertainment Centre to name just a few. BiZnorth travels within the Territory including Alice Springs, Tennant Creek, Katherine and Wadeye.
