The Palmerston Festival is an annual community event organised by the Palmerston City Council, in conjunction with Charles Darwin University and other organisations.
The Festival will run on Saturday 3 June from 11am to 8pm.
Festival gives exposure to many local performers and businesses. This year’s theme is Good.Clean.Fun with a focus on what’s on offer in our community and looking after our environment.
CDU Palmerston Campus will be conducting a large display stand with various marketing collateral to promote CDU courses, with the major focus being the Mid Year Intake. CDU staff will provide advice and course material for all prospective students.
In addition, the School of Tourism and Hospitality will be showcasing Palmerston Campus courses through a variety of visual and hands-on displays.
This is an excellent opportunity to promote other courses for Semester 2, bearing in mind the uniqueness of the Palmerston community, (Defence personnel, young families, rural). Schools are encouraged to provide Palmerston’s Campus coordinator Nyree Terry with their brochures to display on the CDU stand.
So come on down to Palmerston, for fun, festivals and food.
